"Listing the Five Capitals - Chinese Cities in the Qin and Han Dynasties" is an original large-scale exhibition at the Chengdu Museum. The exhibit will be open and free to the public in the Special Exhibition Hall on the first floor of the Chengdu Museum starting from February 9, 2021. The exhibit begins with the general background of social development in the Qin and Han Dynasties, then narrows in on historical and cultural resources based on over 300 outstanding cultural relics from the Han Dynasty that reflect urban life and production in the "Five Capitals". Against the historical background of unification in the Qin and Han Dynasties, the exhibit communicates a magnificent epic of thriving and prosperous urban civilization with diverse social scenes and local customs. Displays are accompanied by superb explanations of human-city relations and interactions between urban, regional, and national development, so visitors are sure to come away with a good understanding. The exhibition will run through May 19, 2021.
