This exhibition sorted the development and exchange history of Chengdu and its sister cities and presented the concept of peace, development, cooperation and win-win of Chengdu which is an all-embracing and open city and also the source of Silk Road in Southern China in the historical process of civilization exchange, mutual reference and coexistence. Chengdu is a mega center city in western China and also an important city opening up to the outside world. Now it is also among new first tier cities. The exhibition has fully displayed the brand-new appearance of Chengdu under the guidance of national foreign development policies to actively promote the establishment of a community of shared future and join hands to build a better future as well as the great social benefits obtained by this city.

The exhibition was hosted by Chengdu Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcast-TV and Tourism, and was co-organized by Chengdu Museum.
