Co-organized by Chengdu Museum, Chengdu Shu Brocade and Embroidery Museum, Anthropology Museum of Guangxi, Suzhou Silk Museum, Jiangning Imperial Silk Manufacturing Museum, this exhibition was the first gathering display of Shu brocade, Song brocade, Yun brocade and Zhuang brocade in Sichuan and also a pioneering attempt of Chinese brocade culture tour. The principal lines of the exhibition were the development process of ancient Chinese brocade and the characteristics of four famous brocades as well as the humanistic atmosphere, which showed the cultural value of traditional Chinese brocade techniques and created extremely strong visual impacts and cultural appeal. During the exhibition, 8 themed events and 4 seminars attracted a large audience and achieved great social benefits.
